According to what I've read from NASA today, the story circulating around the internet these past few days about the earth will experience days of darkness in December this year was a hoax. This link http://huzlers.com/nasa-confirms-earth-will-experience-6-days-total-darkness-december-2014/ bore news about earth experiencing days of darkness from December 16-22.

Further scrutinizing the link they discovered that it has a disclaimer of satirical news in form. Sources from NASA added that almost every year news of the same form emerged like the earth and other heavenly bodies will align or morbid news such as the end the world. NASA claimed that there is no truth to that, they never release any statement to confirm such events.

Audi RS7: An Autonomous Car That Reaches 240 km/h

Audi showed the RS7, an autonomous model that was able to reach 239 km / h in a closed circuit in Germany.

One of the advantages of autonomous cars is that they can get from point A to point B, without the intervention of a human being. Since it is not a person who is behind the wheel, the odds are minimized caused by human error, such as tiredness, sleep or distraction. Under these conditions, theoretically it will be safe to travel at speeds much higher than those that are currently legally permitted. And with that assumption is that the Audi RS7 presented an autonomous model capable of reaching 240 km / h, reports Popular Science.

The car manufacturer has tested this model in a closed circuit in Germany and then put a human pilot to do the same circuit. The driver took five seconds longer than the autonomous car. Still do not know pricing or release dates for this model.

Samsung Officially Introduces The Galaxy Note 4 Duos In China

When no one seems to be paying attention, the giant tech vendor from the South Korea, Samsung, has silently introduced a dual-SIM version of its latest phablet device, the Galaxy Note 4. This new variant, however, is only available for the Chinese market. As it turns out, the dual-SIM version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is available in three variants. The first variant is the SM-N9109 which is specifically designated for the China Telecom carrier. The second variant is the SM-N9106W which is designated for the China Unicom carrier and the last one is the SM-N9108V. The latter is not designated for any carriers, it’s a SIM-free version. This means that users of the device can use it with just about any carrier of their choosing.

According to the SamMobile, the first SIM card slot of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Duos supports 4G connection already. It has been designed to fit the 4G networks provided by the carrier companies in China, which use the TDD-LTE or the FDD-LDD. Unfortunately, though, the second SIM card slot only has support for 2G network at best. Besides the dual SIM card support, this version of the Note 4 also has slight spec differences when compared to its original counterpart. Samsung has degraded the internal storage capacity to 16 GB. For your reminder, the original version has 32GB built-in storage capacity. And, while the original version of this latest generation phablet from Samsung carries a 3,220mAh battery, the dual-SIM version carries a 3,000mAh battery.

Apart from those slight differences, the remainders of the specifications stay true to the original version that the customers in the North America and Europe can get their hands on. It is still supported by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 CPU running at the clock speed of 2.7 GHz. In addition to that, it has 3GB RAM, 5.7-inch display with quad HD resolution, 16MP main camera on the rear, 3.7MP secondary camera on the front and the Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS. The Galaxy Note 4 Duos phablet, the SIM-free version, which Samsung is offering to the customers in China comes at a slightly higher price than the one that the South Korean company is offering to the customers at the rest of the world. Samsung is demanding 5,199 Chinese Yuans for the device. Yet, as for the other two variants, the prices remain to be seen as of this moment.

Google Would Like To Make Android Wear Compatible With iOS

Google executive drops an intriguing hint. Google's Android Wear OS is appreciating a remarkable uptake right now, showing up on any semblance of the Moto 360 and the new LG G Watch R. Yet an exceptionally captivating new advancement could be making the open-source OS perfect with Apple's iOS - as indicated by Android Wear's item administrator Jeff Chang.

Chang identifies with Huffington Post UK and clarified that ios' extensive client base is, clearly, very much an appealing focus for the group. "We generally need whatever number clients as would be prudent to revel as far as we can tell, so as far as empowering more individuals to utilize Android Wear we're extremely intrigued by getting that going," he said. Stage modification Chang happened to admonition his comments with the perception that Apple holds all the keys in the matter of ios and the fittings it runs on. Also he calls attention to that Cupertino may not be slanted to impart. "It's not generally totally up to us, right?" He said. "There are specialized stipulations, API demands so we are making a decent attempt." Fruit, extremely popular for its 'walled enclosure' methodology, is in some cases eager to play decent with opponent programming. Not long ago the organization permitted Microsoft to at last dispatch Office for ipad on its tablet range.

At the same time with the presentation of Healthkit and especially the Apple Watch, another business portion for the organization, its most likely a tad unrealistic Apple will be open to a methodology from Android Wear. Similarly as with most smartwatches time will tell.

Windows 10 Build 9860 Available Support For MKV Video File Formats

In Windows 10 updates a recent build 9860 has a feature that Microsoft did not mention: play MKV video formats without installing any additional software. If you do not know is MKV format is used very commonly in sharing high definition movies, but does want to play these files on Windows, we have to install an external app like K-Lite , VLC, ABC Player. And with Windows 10, MKV support available and we can quickly open files using Windows Media Player, extremely comfortable. Although an error message pops up saying was undeliverable but if we click "Yes", the movie is still playing as usual.

This is also the first time Microsoft brings the ability to read files on the built-in Windows MKV despite the deployment of this feature is still in the early stages. Hopefully it will be completed in the near future in order to simplify the use of the user's computer.

Samsung Sells 4.5 Million Galaxy Note 4

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has officially landed in our markets, which began its journey yesterday after starting their distribution roughly a month ago in his native South Korea and China.

Today we know the first sales figures to be perhaps the most important terminal of the Year for the Android platform, because thanks to a Korean local media has emerged that in its first month, Samsung Galaxy Note sold through four 4 million.

They are similar to those recorded by its predecessor figures, as the Note 3 harvested 5 million units sold in the same period, and should be taken into account if we notice that only sold in a handful of countries while still in the process of expansion its global launch.

Apple Will Open 25 New Stores In China Over The Next Two Years

At the beginning of his new career at Apple, Angela Ahrendths said that among the objectives that arose within the Californian was the expansion of the Chinese market. Probably as a result of the huge success of the iPhone and especially iPhone 6 6 Plus, Apple has decided that the next two years will open another 25 Apple Store in the land of dragons.

Shanghai Apple Store China is the most populous country in the world and the third largest region, on the basis of these considerations, it is also obvious that Apple is planning to branch out further the presence of its store in the area.

To start the project in the mind of Cook, recently on a visit to Foxconn, has also received the extraordinary success of the new iPhone, particularly in the Plus version. The business plans are operated on the opening of a further 25 Store in the next 2 years. Currently in China there are 15 Apple Store, 8 of which are scattered between Shanghai and Beijing, Apple's goal for the next branch openings, however, is its sales outside of the most westernized.

Playstation 4 Sold 40% More Xbox One

The eternal dispute based on the sales figures of the Playstation 4 and Xbox One is more alive than ever. Those responsible for Ars Technica decided to shed light on the controversial issue by publishing an ad hoc report.

World statistics were steady in April 2014, when the Playstation 4 was able to increase to nearly seven million units sold, up from five million Xbox One. The document includes the data updated in September 2014, once again being led by Sony, thanks to 10.56 million of gaming machines sold, while Microsoft has been able to place 7.42 million units.

Ars Technical thunders then a gap of sales by about 40% between the Playstation 4 and Xbox One, although of course we are faced with a range of estimates reported by other industry experts.
There are certainly facing unexpected data. Playstation 4 continues to sell due to several factors. The more powerful hardware, the presence of several different bundles and the presence of well-supported service Playstation Plus are only some of the elements that are making tip the balance in favor of Sony.

Microsoft will really be able to reverse this trend or will have to resign themselves to the way of eternal second? Only time will answer this question.
One of the things that most concern at this time to all owners of a smartphone is to know when your particular model will be updated. Owners of a Motorola phone are calm, and quite possibly in November we can enjoy the new version of +Android. Others, however, are still unsure and when many of these phones have never been exactly cheap. Well if any of you have Samsung Galaxy S5 can be happy, is that since SamMobile said the flagship Samsung Note not counting the range could have Lollipop Android5.0 during the month of December.

In this story we told you about a month ago rumors, but according to SamMobile own, these new rumors come from a reliable source so it is almost one hundred percent in December likely to appear early S5 running under Lollipop. If anyone wants to know how to run Android on a Galaxy Lollipop S5, we show a few weeks ago a video showing a preview. Anyway you have to keep in mind that the first Samsung Galaxy S5 to be updated will be free, also it will not be the same time in all regions and also those who have chosen a terminal telephone operator, may update occurs during 2015.

Still, it's good to know how brands are taking seriously the update many of its models to the latest version of Android, and that mark is that he chooses not to upgrade to Lollipop possibly the most anticipated Android version of above Ice Cream Sandwich- even may lose the favor of users and that today would dig his own grave.

Sony Reportedly Set To Launch a 12-inch Tablet In 2015

According to sources in the Taiwanese supply chain, Sony is preparing to enter the ultra-size tablet market, as are a selection of other unspecified mobile vendors. Sony is apparently set to launch a 12-inch tablet in the first quarter of 2015.

Being such a large size, it’s likely that Sony will pack the huge tablet with a high resolution display and will have to accompany that with a beefy processor and other high-end specifications. This will be the case according to the sources, and Sony will be targeting the 12-inch tablet at markets with a high demand for graphics-related applications.

However, this tablet isn’t expected to experience very high demand, as only a limited supply is apparently heading through the supply chain. Instead, Sony could be testing consumer appetites for larger tablets with a smaller roll-out before deciding if it’s a market segment it would like to commit to in the long term.

Sony’s 12-inch tablet will likely be targeted at laptop users looking for something a little more portable. Think Microsoft’s 12-inch Surface Pro 3 or Samsung’s 12.2 inch Galaxy Note PRO. It will be interesting to see how successful Sony’s tablet turns out to be.

Apple Plans To Equip Beats Audio Technology Automatically In iTunes

In mid-2014, Apple acquired the company, specializing in high technology, a voice that makes you support these two products havevery surprised. Some people think that Apple will use the technology to create headphones Beats Others think Apple will embed technology Beats Apple products similar to HTC. Obviously this perception is completely wrong because why Apple decided worth more than $ 3 billion function is to improve the quality of iTunes.

This year, Apple has lost revenue from the iTunes service (listening to music and acquisitions) of approximately 13 to 14 percent compared to last year. This is a large amount of concern is why Apple has decided to buy Beats, because the company also has listen to music services in the internet connection, similar to Apple. So far, we do not know whether Apple plans to do with Beats, but according to a source, said that Apple will be equipped with Beats audio technology iTunes once since mid-2015 on wards. We do not yet know exactly related to the merger, whether Beats technology will be fitted directly on iTunes service or on how to listen to music through the iTunes Internet.

In fact, today, listening to online music services online are some of the many past and the service is free, but differs from the iTunes service, it is the place to listen to music there are limits and can legally buy music. Beats waiting to see if some help go to iTunes to make the audio quality it more beautiful romantic?

Robot Performs Brain Surgery To Prevent Epileptic Seizures

American researchers are working on a prototype that is capable of performing brain surgery for epilepsy patients safer and less invasive. Not all patients with epilepsy can control their attacks through medication, so some have to resort to brain surgery. This option is invasive and requires that the patient part of the brain is removed, disconnected or stimulated, with the consequent recovery may take three months.

Now, researchers at Vanderbilt University have announced that they have spent the last five years to develop a robot that is able to do this surgery for a faster, less invasive and requires less recovery time. According to CNet, this robot was created by David Comber and Eric Barth, student and professor, respectively, mechanical engineering, and can enter the brain by inserting a needle 1.14 mm on the cheek of the patient, which prevents puncture the skull . Note that this equipment must be operated from a machine MRIs.

The next step will be to test the robot in cadavers, and the researchers hope to have ready to be in the operating room equipment within a decade.

Nokia Devices Is Now Microsoft Lumia

As a direct consequence of Microsoft's 2013 acquisition of the Finnish group's mobile devices division, the Nokia name will soon be phased out and replaced by Microsoft Lumia, according to The Verge. The new name echoes that of Nokia's Windows Phone device range sold since 2011.

Nokia France is among the first local divisions preparing to transition its social media accounts to the new name. "We are about to become Microsoft Lumia," the company announced to its followers on Facebook. The Nokia name will not disappear entirely, as the original Finnish company still exists as Nokia Networks, which focuses on networking, mapping and telecommunications infrastructure. Nonetheless, the disappearance of Nokia as a phone brand marks the end of an era.

The Finnish manufacturer was among the leading pioneers in the mobile phone industry, launching several models as early as the 1980s. More importantly, Nokia was also the world's top-selling mobile phone brand for around 15 years before being overtaken by Samsung in 2012. Several Nokia phones released over this period were so popular that they are still regarded as symbols of their time (3310, 8110, etc.). But the brand quickly fell behind in the smartphone market led by Apple and Samsung.

HBO Standalone Streaming Service Is Coming In 2015

US media giant Time Warner said Wednesday it would launch a stand-alone HBO streaming service from next year, offering viewers without cable subscription hit shows like "Game of Thrones" and "Girls." The move allows HBO to enter the streaming-only video market dominated by Netflix.
HBO chief Richard Plepler told an investor meeting that the new service would be aimed at consumers without a cable or satellite subscription, who have not been able to watch the premium channel until now.

Plepler said the move would be "transformative for our company" by delivering the HBO service directly to consumers. "Currently there are 10 million broadband-only homes in the US," Plepler said. "That number is expected to grow. Of today´s 10 million, about half subscribe to a streaming service.
These consumers have no access to HBO. That is a large and growing opportunity, that should no longer be left untapped."

Consumers currently can access HBO online through a service called HBO Go, but a subscription through cable or satellite is needed. Plepler offered no details on a specific launch date in 2015 or fees for the new service. He said "we will work with our current partners and we will explore models with new partners" in an effort to reach the 80 million homes which do not currently have HBO.

Hendo Hover: World's First Real Hoverboard

According to the expectations of movie fans, 2015 will be the year that the first "flying skateboard" will hit the market. Of course we are still very far from what the anticipated movie "Back to the Future", but to say that scientists around the world are running after something like that. At least that is what we can notice when we see the Hendo.

Raising funds on Kickstarter, the project promises to be the first Hoverboard the world, allowing people to actually float in planks a few inches off the ground. The great advantage of Hendo is the engine in the form of rounded discs - which avoids the loss of control that happen to square systems, for example.

According to the developers, these engines create a magnetic field that "literally pushes against itself, generating the force that makes the board levitate over the ground." It is worth saying that in the current stage, it is necessary that the surface is composed of non-ferromagnetic conductors, but there are projects to make it can be modified to cheaper alloys.

This means that there is no provision for the Hendo can be used on the streets, for example. This is because the asphalt is not able to interact with the motor and the magnetic field created by them. Still, it's interesting seeing the advancement of technology. The Hendo intends to raise $250,000 in two months and so far have raised $7500. Only ten full kits being offered in this package and each costs $10,000.

Lowest Temperature Ever In Universe Recorded At Italian Laboratory

Scientists at National Nuclear Physics Institute's Gran Sasso National Laboratory, Italy have set a world record of the lowest temperature ever achieved in the universe. They cooled a copper vessel with a volume of one cubic meter to -273.144 degrees celsius. This is stunningly close to 'absolute zero', which is equal to -273.15 degrees celsius. Theoretical physics says that temperature can never go below this limit.

No experiment on Earth has ever cooled a similar mass or volume to temperatures such a low; similar conditions are also not expected to arise in nature. This gives CUORE the distinction of being the coldest cubic meter in the known universe. The cooled copper mass, weighing approximately 400 kg, was the coldest cubic meter in the universe for over 15 days.
